Are your timing tools really free?
Yes! All our tools are 100% free to use. There are no hidden fees, premium tiers, or required subscriptions. You can use our stopwatch, pomodoro timer, countdown timer, world clock, and birthday countdown without paying anything.
Do I need to create an account?
No registration is required. You can start using any tool immediately. Some tools save your preferences locally in your browser (like birthday countdowns), but this happens automatically without requiring an account.
Do the tools work on mobile devices?
Absolutely! All our tools are fully responsive and optimized for phones, tablets, and desktops. We designed them mobile-first, so they work perfectly on any screen size.
Which browsers are supported?
Our tools work on all modern browsers including Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers. We recommend keeping your browser updated for the best experience.
Is my data safe and private?
Yes! We take privacy seriously. We collect minimal data, comply with GDPR and CCPA regulations, and never sell your information to third parties. Data saved locally (like birthdays) stays in your browser.
Questions About Our Tools
How accurate is the stopwatch?
Our stopwatch uses your device's high-precision timer and maintains millisecond accuracy. It continues running even when you switch browser tabs or minimize the window. However, we don't recommend it for critical scientific or medical timing where absolute precision is essential.
Can I record laps with the stopwatch?
Yes! The stopwatch includes a lap tracking feature. Click the "Lap" button or press the "L" key to record lap times. There's no limit to how many laps you can record.
How does the Pomodoro Timer work?
The Pomodoro Timer follows the proven Pomodoro Technique: 25 minutes of focused work followed by a 5-minute break. After completing 4 work sessions, you get a longer 15-minute break. The timer automatically switches between work and break sessions.
Can I customize the Pomodoro Timer durations?
Currently, the timer uses the standard 25/5/15 minute intervals. We're working on adding customizable durations in a future update. Stay tuned!
Will I get notified when the Pomodoro session ends?
Yes! You'll hear a notification sound when each session completes. If you grant notification permissions, you'll also receive a browser notification, even if you're on a different tab.
How do I set a countdown timer?
Simply select your target date and time using the date picker, then click "Start". The countdown will show days, hours, minutes, and seconds remaining. Your target date is automatically saved for when you return.
Does the world clock show real-time?
Yes! The world clock updates every second in real-time. It automatically adjusts for Daylight Saving Time based on each city's local rules.
How many cities does the world clock show?
Currently, we display 8 major cities: New York, London, Tokyo, Sydney, Dubai, Paris, Singapore, and Los Angeles. We plan to add custom city selection in future updates.
How do I add birthdays to track?
Enter the person's name and birth date, then click "Add Birthday". The tracker will show how many days until their next birthday and what age they'll be turning. You can add unlimited birthdays.
Are my saved birthdays deleted?
Your birthdays are saved in your browser's local storage. They remain there until you clear your browser data or manually delete them using the delete button (✗ on each birthday card.

What data do you collect?
We collect minimal data: basic analytics (page views, browser type) to improve our site, and cookie preferences. Tools that save data (like birthdays) store it locally in your browser, not on our servers.

Technical Questions
Why does the timer pause when I close the browser?
Browsers don't allow background processes to run indefinitely for security and battery reasons. However, our tools save your state and resume correctly when you return.
The stopwatch seems inaccurate. What should I do?
Our tools use your device's clock. If timing seems off, please check that your device's time is set correctly. If the issue persists, try refreshing the page or clearing your browser cache.
Can I use these tools offline?
Some features work offline once the page is loaded, but we recommend an internet connection for the best experience. We're working on full offline support through service workers.
How do I report a bug?
